KIRSH Helmets and the WolfPack travel app, two of the hottest startup companies in powersports, announced a partnership to benefit customers of both companies. The partnership launches with a group ride during the Sturgis Rally in South Dakota.
Users of WolfPack will have special access to purchase KIRSH Helmets through the app. In addition, KIRSH Helmets and WolfPack will partner to create events for customers of both brands at motorcycle events, with the Sturgis Rally being the first of many.
The KIRSH Helmets/WolfPack ride in Sturgis is slated for Saturday, August 3 and runs from the Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel to KIRSH’s display on Lazalle Street in Sturgis. Motorcyclists can get more information on the ride and the route from the WolfPack web site.
KIRSH Helmets feature revolutionary new helmet technology, using a liquid-filled silicone liner along with a super-hardened shell to deflect and disperse the kinetic energy created in an impact. The company’s first product is the CHM-1, a motorcycle half helmet that is available in eight colors. KIRSH Helmets are American-made by veterans and Americans with disabilities in Upstate New York.
KIRSH Helmets are the official helmet of the Sturgis Rally™ and the company will offer helmet demo rides and helmet fittings at their display on the corner of Lazalle Street and Harley-Davidson Way in downtown Sturgis.
There are over 60,000 users of WolfPack, a motorcycle group travel app targeted toward motorcyclists who love to travel with friends. The app includes several unique features (in addition to the traditional turn-by-turn navigation) such as trip planning, group communication, trip info sharing, single-touch communication and a unique “radar” feature that helps keep the group together while traveling, all without taking your eyes off the road. WolfPack is available for IOS and Android phones and its travel planning features are available online as well.
In addition, WolfPack is celebrating the rally’s Year of the Ride, and created rides to help motorcyclists enjoy all of the beauty of the Black Hills through self-guided runs on the regions finest roads, including Spearfish Canyon, Iron Mountain Road and the Wildlife Loop in Custer State Park. Details are on the Sturgis Rally page of the WolfPack web site.
“We know our users want to have the best technology when they ride,” said Jonathan Chashper, CEO and Alpha Wolf of WolfPack. “KIRSH Helmets have the most revolutionary technology in the motorcycle helmet industry.”
“Motorcycling is a social experience and riding with friends makes it even better. Our target customers love riding in groups and the WolfPack app makes that experience safer and more fun for everyone,” said KIRSH Helmets President and Chief Operating Officer Donnie DeVito.
