Kickback Launches Loose-leaf CBD-infused Tea and Matcha for Brewing at Home

Kickback is excited to announce the launch of their new line of CBD-infused loose-leaf teas: Matcha’cha and Peachy Dreams. Kickback Cold Brew has been an innovator in the CBD-beverage industry since 2016, but their new line of loose-leaf teas and matcha powder represent Kickback’s diversification and engagement with consumers who are not coffee drinkers.
The CBD Matcha Tea, Matcha’Cha, contains organic, active CBD that is blended into the powder. With its origins in Japanese ceremonial culture, this matcha tea has smooth and subtle hints of vegetal taste and tannin. The matcha is grown at an elevation of 500 masl. Peachy Dreams, a CBD Peach Ginger Tea, also has active, organic CBD infused into its leaves. It has a refreshing, fruity taste and a crisp, full-bodied texture. The origins of this ginger peach black tea are the Nilgiri Mountains in India at an elevation of 1800-2000 masl.
“Almost everyone has a preference of either coffee or tea, and our goal was to provide everyone with the option for a warm cup of a relaxing, CBD-infused brew,” said Pierre Real, founder and CEO of Kickback Cold Brew. “We want to help tea drinkers achieve the same ‘functional chill’ as those who drink our CBD-infused coffee.”
Kickback aims to help humans deal with day-to-day stress by adding CBD to caffeinated drinks, like coffee and tea. CBD (“Cannabidiol”) is a cannabis compound that is used to help relieve anxiety, inflammation, and seizures. It has recently been recognized by notable celebrities and athletes, consequently becoming more mainstream and accessible to the public.
The CBD-infused loose-leaf teas are single-origin, ensuring a unique and consistent flavor. All of Kickback’s beverages are organic, gluten-free, and plant-based.

Matcha’cha and Peachy Dreams are available in 3 oz. packages. The teas will be sold in over 200 locations nationwide.
