Why not join Britain’s largest rural buying co-operative with Mole Valley Farmers and receive fantastic discounts, promotions, newsletters, shareholder rebates and much more?
By becoming a member of the Mole Valley Farmers co-operative you will be joining a dedicated network that are committed to supporting farmers and the rural community.
There are three levels of membership and which one you choose depends on which benefits are suitable to you and your needs.
The Standard account is free of charge and just requires registration. This level is ideal for those who have access to a credit card but do not wish to pay for any of the other benefits. They will also receive access to the Feed solutions and Forage services, enabling advice and support.
Country membership is £10 for one year and is ideal for regular customers who run a farm, or smallholding, tradesmen, horse owners or just country lovers. As well as credit accounts, you will receive a 2% discount for paying cash, receive a monthly newsletter, get a 1% discount for placing an order to your account (if paid by direct debit) and get access to Mole Valley Plus. If you join this level for longer than a year, you will be entitled to a discount on your membership.
Farmer shareholder is the top level account, and costs a one off fee of £150. With this level you get access to all the mentioned benefits, but receive a 3% discount rather than 2% on items paid by cash, plus farmer shareholder rebates. This rebate scheme is given in vouchers annually and applies to a variety of farming equipment and supplies with a minimum £500 spend.
So there you have it, if you would like discounts on many farming items including chicken wire, wormers and electric fencing then consider joining Mole Valley Farmers.
If you have any queries at all please do not hesitate to contact our Membership Department on 01769 576234 or email membership@molevalleyfarmers.com.
Editors Notes:
Mole Valley Farmers was started in 1960 by a small group of farmers around South Molton who were concerned by the discriminatory practices and the large margins being taken by many of their input suppliers. From the outset it was decided to treat all members equally, subject only to quantity allowance and that the Company would operate on the minimum margin to allow continuity and growth. Today it remains one of a few true co-operatives in the supply industry.
