The pandemic has decimated so many small business on Long Island and in particular been very hard on the restaurant community. Through his website SupportGCLocal.com Joe Cianciotto launched the Virtual Promenade https://www.supportgclocal.com/promenade on May 16th 2020, which was an online virtual platform for local Garden City businesses to transact on.

For that week more than 90 businesses signed up and in 5 days there were more than 10,000 people who went to the online destination out of a population of 20,000 residents.
As the weather gets cold once more and restaurants are certain to struggle with reaching customers. Joe Cianciotto is going to revitalize and update the Virtual Promenade for a November 1st launch. As such Joe is inviting all participating restaurants an opportunity to update their menu, info and specials in order to once more provide a directory for local Garden City residences to find those local businesses to support as the cold weather descends once more.
