Sandy, UT (PRUnderground) October 20th, 2024
A new cancer clinic recently opened at Intermountain Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah, bringing world-class cancer care closer to home for individuals in the southeast end of the South Salt Lake Valley.
Chemotherapy in the infusion center, hydration, and bone marrow biopsies are all offered, as well as specialized services, such as social work support and nurse navigation that allows caregivers to work closely with patients during their treatment journey.
The clinical team at the new Intermountain clinic collaborates closely with other oncology specialists throughout the Intermountain Health system to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
“We want the community to know that Intermountain provides world-class care and we want them to be treated as close to home as possible,” said Francisco Matinez, MD, an oncologist at the new clinic and doctor with Intermountain Medical Group. “All of our Intermountain Oncology centers work incredibly hard to provide the best care to any patient no matter the location, and we are very excited to have Alta View Oncology follow suit in that standard of care. Our team of oncologists, nurses, and medical assistants are trained and ready to help any patient in Salt Lake Valley receive the best cancer care available.
The new clinic is located in Building #2 on the Intermountain Alta View Hospital campus in Sandy at 9450 South 1300 East.
