InSight Mobile Data takes driver behavior monitoring to the next level with myScore

InSight Mobile Data, Inc. today announces the release of the myScore driver safety solution, to add to the existing powerful set of driver behavior monitoring and performance features available through their StreetEagle software platform. myScore is a set of interactive tools that delivers precise driver scoring data directly to employees and supervisors – allowing them to compare individual performance to other team members, or to an entire group. The purpose of myScore is to help create a “safety first” culture for organizations that depend on drivers.

“From the beginning, we’ve built driver behavior monitoring features into the StreetEagle platform with a goal of helping organizations create and maintain a ‘safety first’ mindset across the board,” said Chris Eller, Director of Product Development for InSight. “myScore represents the next step in that evolution, by delivering accurate driving data directly to drivers and their managers through their mobile devices, and incorporating gamification principles to encourage healthy competition and a higher standard of performance.”

The myScore driver safety solution consists of three components, which are being released in phases. myScore Mobile is an online, mobile-optimized web portal for drivers and managers to login and view their scores across a variety of critical performance categories, including speeding, driver behavior and idling. It calculates a specific score for drivers, compares them to other team member scores and displays driving data trends compared to pre-set standards. Managers particularly benefit from having instant access to real-time and historical driving data, which they can use to coach employees and achieve higher safety standards across the board.

myScore Campaigns will provide organizations with a means to automate the communication of performance metrics to individual drivers, managers or the entire organization via email. myScore Competitions will raise the stakes for organizations that are serious about making driving safety a high priority, utilizing principles of “gamification” to tap into team members’ natural drive to compete. The online interface will make it easy for drivers and teams to view their results vs. the results of others, and for managers and supervisors to acknowledge high achievers.
