Imperial Brass recently featured on a recent radio broadcast on Classical 101.1 – WRR 101.1 FM, announces the official date of its ‘Out Of This World’ Concert. The Concert will be live in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church in downtown Dallas on March 6, 2016, at 7 pm prompt.
The concert will feature the amazing Imperial Brass in an earth-shattering arrangement of The Planets Suite by Gustav Holst, in its entirety, for large brass ensemble and percussion. Dallas Symphony Orchestra Principal Trumpet Ryan Anthony will be the featured soloist for this exciting concert.
Also included in this performance are selections from Superman and E.T., as well as two original compositions from the exquisite pen of composer and trumpeter Micah Bell.
According to Concert hosts, part of the proceeds from this spectacular concert will go to benefit Cancer Blows and the Ryan Anthony Foundation – which raises awareness and money to encourage research for cancer, with a focus on blood cancers and Multiple Myeloma. Tickets are available for purchase at $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
