HPV Can Cause Genital Wart-Like Tumors on the Tonsils; CBCD Reviews Medical Studies on HPV

HPV on the tonsils can lead to throat cancer. CBCD reviews the evidence and recommends two natural HPV remedies.

“Infected with HPV? We recommend taking Novirin or Gene-Eden-VIR.” – Greg Bennett, CBCD
The human papilloma virus (HPV) is known to cause genital warts and cervical cancer. However, HPV can also cause an infection in the tonsils. In fact, “There are more than 40 subtypes of HPV that can infect the genital area and the throat (tonsillar HPV).” (1) A recent study found that the prevalence of tonsillar HPV has increased significantly over the past three decades, and that more men than women have oral HPV infection. “The most frequent subtype of tonsillar HPV detected is HPV-16, a high-risk subtype of HPV for oropharyngeal (mouth and pharynx) cancer.” (1)
The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) recommends that people infected with HPV take Novirin or Gene-Eden-VIR. The formula of these natural antiviral products was tested by Hanan Polansky and Edan Itzkovitz from the CBCD in two clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines. The studies showed that the Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR formula is effective against the HPV and other viruses. The clinical studies were published in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, the first, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs. Study authors wrote that, “individuals infected with the HPV…reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with Gene-Eden-VIR.” (2) The study authors also wrote that “we observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.” (2)
Both products can be ordered online on the Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR websites.
Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are natural antiviral dietary supplements. Their formula contains five natural ingredients: Selenium, Camellia Sinesis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. The first ingredient is a trace element, and the other four are plant extracts. Each ingredient and its dose was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists at polyDNA, the company that invented and patented the formula, scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals, and identified the safest and most effective natural ingredients against latent viruses. To date, Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are the only natural antiviral products on the market with published clinical studies that support their claims.
“Evidence strongly suggests that tonsillar HPV is predominantly transmitted by sexual contact. An increase in oral sex is suspected as the cause of the increase in the prevalence of tonsillar HPV infection, although several sexual behaviors seem to be related to oral HPV prevalence. The risk of infection increases with an increasing number of lifetime or recent sexual partners for any type of sexual behavior (ie, vaginal sex, oral sex). With 20 or more lifetime sexual partners, the prevalence of oral HPV infection reaches 20%. Smokers are also at greater risk than nonsmokers, with current heavy smokers at particularly high risk.” (1)
The CBCD reminds individuals that most people with tonsillar HPV infections have no symptoms and are unaware of the infection.
“Tonsillar HPV infection can cause oropharyngeal cancer. An increase in the incidence of oropharyngeal cancer has paralleled the increased prevalence of tonsillar HPV infection.” (1)
What Treatments are Available that Target HPV?
“There are no drugs approved against the HPV. Current treatments include procedures, such as cryotherapy, conization, and the Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP). These procedures use liquid nitrogen, a surgical knife (scalpel), a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser, or electrical current to remove the abnormal growths caused by the HPV. These growths include cells that harbor the active virus. The procedures do not target cells with the latent virus. Since they do not remove the latent virus, these procedures only produce a temporary remission.” (2) In contrast, Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR were designed to target the latent HPV.
The CBCD therefore recommends that HPV infected individuals take Novirin or Gene-Eden-VIR. Click to learn about Novirin and HPV and Gene-Eden-VIR and HPV.

About CBCD
The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (https://www.cbcd.net) is a not-for-profit tax-exempt organization under section 501(c) 3 of the IRS tax code. The center’s mission is to advance the research on the biology of chronic disease and to accelerate the discovery of a cure for these diseases. The CBCD first published Dr. Hanan Polansky’s highly acclaimed “Purple” book, entitled “Microcompetition with Foreign DNA and the Origin of Chronic Disease” in 2003. In this book, he explains how foreign DNA fragments can cause many major diseases. The book has been read by more than 5,000 scientists around the world, and has been reviewed in more than 20 leading scientific journals. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
