City Park Investments recently announced an investment in HospiceMatch, a platform streamlining hospice discovery, education, and admission. With this addition, Demos Parneros continues to expand City Park Investments’ portfolio of high-integrity companies in the retail, e-commerce, and technology space.
HospiceMatch was founded by Ralph Haddad and Paul Mocur Jr. as a platform dedicated to helping patients find the best hospice providers for their needs. Their mission is to uphold patients’ rights, especially the right to choose a provider, ensuring patients are aware of and educated on all their options. The company also builds tools that help streamline the admission process for hospices and referral sources, including document requests, medical record collection, and automated signatures and consents.
“I’m thrilled to be backing a company that uses technology to help patients and their families find the care they need at the end of life,” Parneros stated. “The co-founders recognized an important opportunity in this industry that affects millions of Americans every year, and created a solution in HospiceMatch that helps meet their needs during what can often be a challenging time.”
“We’re extremely excited to have Demos join us on our mission,” said Paul Mocur. “Demos’s experience and advice have been crucial to us and we’re thrilled about our partnership,” Ralph Haddad added.
