HITLAB is pleased to announce that Olivier Rabenschlag, former Google executive and Founding Partner of Chapter 3 Captial, has joined the Breakthrough Alliance (BTA) board. Chapter 3 Capital offers a unique blend of human and financial resources to early stage startups including those in AI, Big Data and Blockchain; Healthcare and Climate-tech ventures; and Social Enterprises.
Prior to founding Chapter 3 Capital, Olivier spent 11 years at Google, where he built, humanized and commercialized a myriad of emerging technologies from the ground up and scaling them to the masses. He was also an investor across 20 companies including 4 unicorns and 1 decacorn. Olivier started his career in the advertising industry, where he successfully built-up brands using his creativity and marketing skills.

The BTA is a digital health consortium of executive leaders from across life science, pharmaceutical, academic medical institutions, and healthcare providers, including New York City Economic Development Corporation, Merck Global Health Innovation, Johnson & Johnson, Medidata, Fund LLC, BDO, Atlas Venture, StartUp Health, CATALAIZE, Consummate Capital, EdgeOne Medical, Esplanade Ventures, FFF Enterprises and Northwell Health, all committed to improving health outcomes and care delivery through verified emerging technologies. The board is chaired by Bill Taranto, the CEO of the Merck Global Innovation Fund.
