The first book in the Smart Kids series was published in 2019 when high school student, Alena LaPointe, was just 14-years old. Since 2019, Alena and her dad have added to two additional books to the series.

You see, according the authors, they have had kids ranging in age from 9 to 17 and their parents looking over their shoulders while they were writing each of these books. While writing each book in the series, the co-authors had over a dozen kids and their parents helping them to write content that was easy-to-read, simple-to-understand and fun.
