During the live Presidential address, The SPH Nithyananda Paramasivam revealed that the Hindu tradition not only gives equal rights to women, but reveres, honors and above all, worships women, who embody the feminine consciousness. He explains that, in Hindu tradition, everything worthy of worship is named in a feminine expressive way. The Earth itself is called Bhuma Devi.
“In Hindu tradition, the earth is not geography, it is biology. It is a living being and it is worshiped as female.”
The SPH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam
The SPH further explains how Hinduism has a separate Sampradaya (tradition) called Shakta sampradaya, which worships feminine energy and which worships the highest source of the universe in the form of woman.
