GiveGab, the Nonprofit Giving Platform, celebrates a rousing success on their first ever #GivingTuesday initiative after 24 hours of record gift making by donors to their nonprofit community.
Created in 2012, #GivingTuesday by the 92nd Street Y is a day of giving that utilizes the powers of social media and collaboration to catalyze generosity around the globe. Happening annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving #GivingTuesday is meant to kick off the charitable season and end-of-year giving.
“We are blown away that donors from around the country donated to 163 different nonprofits via the GiveGab platform on #GivingTuesday. We’re proud to have been a partner with the 92Y and that GiveGab was able to play a role in a growing national movement! We are looking forward to #GivingTuesday 2016 and more importantly continuing to help nonprofits better engage their donors and volunteers every single day.”, said Charlie Mulligan, CEO of GiveGab.

About GiveGab
About GiveGab
GiveGab has developed a Nonprofit Giving Platform, a powerful and unique fundraising and volunteer engagement solution, dedicated to nonprofit organizations. GiveGab empowers nonprofits by leveraging existing social networks for fundraising while building engaged communities of donors and volunteers as followers of the organizations given to. Fundraising methods developed by past generations have not kept up with the rapid technological changes embraced by the generations of today. The result is a market that is underserved and unprepared for the generational shift in giving that we are at the precipice of.
GiveGab helps nonprofits run beautiful crowdgiving campaigns, not only by providing an extremely easy-to-use platform for online donations, but, more importantly giving nonprofits the tools, coaching and best practices to maximize each campaign’s results. In addition to crowdgiving, nonprofits can manage, engage and communicate with their volunteers and donors, forging a relationship that maximizes lifetime value. All of this is provided at an extremely low, risk-free cost for nonprofits. For more information, please go to www.givegab.com.
