Let us introduce you to Dr. James Anthony:

Dr. James Anthony has been involved in veterinary medicine for over 40 years. He is a graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewanand received his DVMdegree in 1983. Dr. Anthony has been involved in clinical practice for30years at a numberof veterinary practices;Cambie Animal Clinic(Vancouver),All Care Animal Referral(Los Angles),as well as referral practices in Victoria, Toronto, Kelowna, Montreal, Quebec City and Saskatoon. Dr. Anthony became focused on veterinary dentistry in 1984. In1986he became a Fellow ofthe Academy of Veterinary Dentistry and in 1989 he was in the first group of veterinarians to become a Diplomate of the AVDC. He was one of the founding members of the EVDC and is a Diplomate of the EVDC.

Dr. Anthony has had an extensive academic career as well, having taught veterinary dentistry atthe University of Guelph, the University of Montreal and the University of Prince Edward Island. He was also a Tenured Professor at the University of Saskatchewan (Western College of Veterinary Medicine) as the Head of Veterinary Oral Surgery and Dentistry.

Dr. Anthony has authored over 40 articles and book chapters, and throughout his careerhas lectured globally at veterinary meetings. Dr. Anthony is one of the most respected veterinary dental specialists in the world. He has also been a veterinary dental consultant for many zoos and aquariums throughout North America and Asia, and has mentored numerous individuals to become Diplomates in the AVDC.

Dr. Anthony currently has just retired from practicing advanced dental procedures at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. He is currently teaching advanced veterinary dentistry throughout the world. He mainly teaches in Asia and South America trying to avoid the Canadian winter.

On a side note he has a vineyard  at his farm in Princeton, British Columbia.
