The company provides skilled musicians that play a sophisticated mix of old school and contemporary music that spans the decades for events of all types and sizes. Created by Los Angeles session musician-turned-entrepreneur, Max Benson, GB Entertainment began as an instrumental duo that still serves as the company’s flagship band. Benson, along with business partner Chris Vazquez, launched GB Entertainment to build on the Duo’s success by adding trio and full band options, with or without vocals.
“The spirit of jazz thrives in the party atmosphere,” says co-owner Vazquez. “Its energy elevates the soul and brings people together without overpowering them, making it the perfect vehicle for parties.” Founder Benson notes, “We aim to create the perfect ambiance for each event with all our bands. This is not a one size fits all operation. We care deeply about both music and people, and we work hard to create the perfect union between them.”
With a massive repertoire, setlists for each event are designed to purposefully capture the atmosphere of the room. Whether a client wants background music that lends an elegant edge, or a six-piece band with soulful and lush vocals, GB Entertainment covers it.
