Franchise Gator Releases Top 100 for 2015

Franchise Gator today announced the release of its second annual Top 100 list, a ranking of the top 100 franchise systems that are both currently expanding and considered to be strong buys for individuals looking to purchase a franchise. Franchise Gator published the rankings for Numbers 11-100 and will release its Top 10 franchise picks leading up to the International Franchise Association annual convention in Las Vegas February 15-18.

The Top 100 list aims to help individuals interested in purchasing a franchise identify and limit potential risks of finding the right business opportunity. Although there are many franchise ranking lists available, many potential franchisees find that most of the top-ranked systems either have little availability or require a multi-million dollar investment.

“We created the Top 100 list primarily for Franchise Gator users,” said Eric Bell, General Manager of Franchise Gator. “We understand that most potential franchisees aren’t candidates for purchasing a $1 million business. The ranking was generated using a formula developed with the help of Rick Bisio, author of “The Educated Franchisee” and through a process of reviewing Franchise Disclosure Documents using a list of criteria including:

• Financial stability and health
• Franchisee profitability
• Growth track record over a period of years
• Transparency of key buyer information
• How strong the market is for a system’s goods and services
• Long-term sustainability of the franchise
• Franchisee satisfaction
