Prestigious art gallery, Fosse Gallery, have announced their forthcoming art exhibition to be a solo exhibition by artist Karen Edwards.
Founded in 1980, the Fosse Gallery has handled some of the most prestigious contemporary British art in the past thirty years, wth artists of investment quality and international standing. This is the second time Fosse Gallery have hosted the Karen Edward’s solo exhibition. Karen Edwards graduated with a first class honours degree in Fine Art in 1984, picking up awards along the way – the John Christie scholarship, The Hatton Prize 1983 and the Annabel Winship Smiles Travelling Scholarship. Karen is now an established artist and has had numerous one man shows and joint exhibitions. She was elected a member of the Royal West Academy in 2004.
From solitary woodland walks to seascapes and majestic skies, the ambiance and overwhelming sense of peace and tranquility given by Karen’s work is created through the layers of paint and the subtle use of colour.
