Elaine Damschen, President of Mainstream Electrical, Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, was recently selected as Top Entrepreneur of the Year for 2021 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the Home Services Industries.
Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. With over two decades of professional experience as a successful Entrepreneur, Elaine has certainly proven herself as an extraordinary professional and expert in many fields. She is a dynamic, results-driven leader, who has demonstrated success in every role she has ever served. Currently, Elaine is the President of Mainstream Electrical, Heating, Cooling and Plumbing in Spokane Valley, Washington.
Her impressive areas of expertise include but are not limited to her strong Business Development background, Sales, Management, Team Building, Marketing, Education, Strategic Planning, Leadership, Public Speaking and Customer Service. With Elaine’s guidance, Mainstream has maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau since 2003.
Before embarking on her current career path, Elaine attended Boise State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching in 1992. She returned to continue her education at Boise and achieved her Master’s in Business Administration in 2011.
Throughout her illustrious career, Elaine has received awards, accolades and has been recognized as an active member of her community for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the Home Services Industries. This year she will be considered for a feature article in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and is also being considered for the Empowered Woman Award given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). Elaine will receive her most current recognition as Top Entrepreneur of the Year for 2021 at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala being held at the magnificent Plaza Hotel in New York City at the end of this year. In past years, she has received a variety of awards for her Humanitarianism and as a Top Executive by Who’s Who. Furthermore, she has been featured as a Woman in Business Leadership in Spokane Coeur D’Alene Magazine, as well as named Woman of the Year by the Spokesman Review. Mainstream, was named (for 2 consecutive years) fastest growing privately held company No. 3680 (2019), No. 3937 (2018) from Inc. Magazine.

In addition to her successful career, Elaine has devoted her time and contributed so much of her business know-how to helping others. Her long list of affiliations and achievements involved her prior role as a Board Member and Bookeeper, having served from 2010-2018 for Kids Helping Kids Fix Broken Hearts. Elaine has been a member of Nexstar Network since 2012 and has been a Board Member since 2016. She belongs to the Better Business Bureau of the Northwest and Pacific and has served on the Board of Directors since 2014. Elaine is an advocate for Explorethetrades.org, Projectathena.org and has hosted several parades and activities for the entirety of her entrepreneurial endeavors.
Looking back, Elaine attributes her success to her perseverance, her respect and understanding of her role while working alongside her husband and remaining passionate in all of her business relations. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling. For the future, she hopes to expand her business throughout the Northwest and will be participating in the Mrs. Idaho Pageant for 2021.
