Ed4Online is pleased to announce its corporate sponsorship of the Ft. Drum Chapter of the Salute Military Golf Association (SMGA) for its annual Golf Tournament, held at the Malone Golf Club on August 27, 2014.
Ed4Online is an avid supporter of military service members and those affiliate programs that seek to empower and enrich the lives of former and active duty personnel. In supporting the Ft. Drum Chapter of SMGA at its annual tournament, the company hopes to enable those service members with a passion for golf the opportunity to play on a prestigious course alongside their peers.
“We view the SMGA tournament as a way to empower those wounded service members who love to golf and fully support the SMGA mission to give these players opportunities that empower them,” said Dr. Tricia Seymour, Chief Operating Officer for Ed4Online. “We’re proud to be a corporate sponsor and will continue to support our military members, both those serving and those who have served in the past.”
Salute Military Golf Association (SMGA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2007, dedicated to bringing the game of golf to wounded veterans. Since its foundation, the organization has brought the game of golf to thousands of wounded warriors, as well as outfitted more than 800 with custom sets of golf clubs.
SMGA programs, clinics and golf experiences build lasting friendships beyond the hospital and past the golf course. By addressing the unique needs of wounded warriors returning home from service, the organization assists these heroes as they reintegrate back to active duty or civilian society.
The 2014 SMGA Golf Tournament was held at the Malone Golf Club, located at 79 Golf Course Road, Malone, NY 12953. The event took place from 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2014.
