Detroit, MI (PRUnderground) February 1st, 2021

Driving successful lives, a local 501(c) nonprofit charity along with Highland grocer Steve Girjis was able to hand out food to families in need coming into the new year. Donations of produce, dry goods, turkeys, beef, chicken, pork and other meat items were donated and sold at a discount from the Save A Lot in Highland, Michigan.

Representatives from the charity along with those working in the grocery store took time out of their busy day to prepare in surmountable amounts of vegetables, fruits and meats in order to distribute to the hungry. We don’t discriminate on who receives our food, if you are hungry you will eat. The blessings that we can share with the community are only a fraction of the things to come in the new year, said representatives from both organizations. Driving Successful Lives, It’s already registered nationwide to except donations and give to various programs continues to assist in its effort to fight food hunger with its pantry and food giving services.

About Driving Successful Lives

Driving Successful Lives’ mission is to help raise funds and improve the lives of veterans, homeless families, children, those with addictions while helping donors generate a tax deduction, often with property or vehicles they might no longer want.

Every time a person gives to the charity of their choice it may also create a tax benefit for them. Car donations, real estate donations or money donated to non-profit institutions throughout the tax year may be tax deductible which means that they could make a positive difference for people while reducing the amount of income taxes they pay. Contributing to charities can be a very convenient way to reduce taxes and help others.
