Driving Successful Lives, donated a vehicle to veterans in the Detroit area as part of their Christmas Keys program. “The car donation program that we run, affords others the opportunity to receive a vehicle” said Executive Director, Mark Maupin. The organization Driving Successful Lives spends a lot of time and money working with mechanics and volunteers to make sure that the vehicles are safe,
“I have new parts and ready to provide transportation to those who have successfully gained employment, and have started a new chapter in their life. Driving Successful Lives strives to continue to provide transportation, vehicles, and other items to those who face challenges or who previously have faced, adversity in their life, and come to the organization for help.” The charity has been helping people since 2018.
DSL accepts vehicle and property donations from individuals who are looking to help with a straightforward organization that focuses on effective help rather organizational layers and employee perks. The charity has delivered numerous cars to hard-working folks who strive to just make ends meet & have no savings available to buy a vehicle. The charity has also aided with rental assistance and food for a number of families – not only during the holiday season, but throughout the year.
