Neurological Associates of Long Island, a medical group dedicated to high quality compassionate care for neurological disorders, is pleased to announce that Dr. Tracy M. DeAngelis has joined the practice.
Dr. DeAngelis was most recently an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis, where she also completed a Multiple Sclerosis Fellowship. Prior, Dr. DeAngelis completed her Neurology Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Department of Neurology.

Multiple sclerosis has been a key focus for Dr. DeAngelis. She has been published seven times in various medical journals, has presented numerous findings in the field, and has worked on 17 MS research/clinical trials. In 2006-7, Dr. DeAngelis was awarded the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Clinical Fellowship Award.
Dr. DeAngelis received her Doctor of Medicine degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Medicine, Syracuse, New York. She received her BA in English Cum laude at Dartmouth College, with a pre-medical curriculum.
Professional certification and membership includes being a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and a member of the American Academy of Neurology.
