He continued to teach at USC for ten years, and in 2006 earned an award for ten years of outstanding service to the School of Dentistry. He is also an active member of the Los Angeles Dental Society and the past co-chairman of the Los Angeles Dental Society Peer Review Committee, tasked with resolving disputes on the delivery of dental services to the public.
