The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology has published a two-part Continuing Medical Education (CME) article series titled “Disability and the Dermatology Patient,” Authored by leading experts in dermatology and  Dr. Robert Krug, a physiatrist and nationally known disability consultant, this groundbreaking series addresses how to improve dermatologic access and support patients with disabilities. Both articles were published on December 25, 2024.

Focusing on the unique challenges faced by individuals with cognitive, visual, motor, and hearing disabilities, this two-part series offers practical insights and actionable strategies for dermatologists and other healthcare providers.
