Dr. Janet Smith Warfield selected as Top Motivational Speaker of the Decade by IAOTP

Dr. Janet Smith Warfield, Award-Winning Author, Workshop Facilitator, and International Speaker for Word Sculptures Publishing has been selected as Top Motivational Speaker of the Decade for 2020 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself. Only one male and one female professional are chosen for this distinction. Dr. Warfield has demonstrated excellence in her field for over 55 years. She was honored at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas for her selection as an Empowered Woman of the Year and for her induction into IAOTP’s exclusive Hall of Fame. In April of 2021 she will be honored as Top Motivational Speaker of the Decade at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

During the Cold War, Janet was selected by the American Field Service as an American Field Service exchange student to Berlin, Germany. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Swarthmore College, a Juris Doctor Degree cum laude from Rutgers School of Law – Camden, and practiced law in Atlantic City, New Jersey, for 22 years. She has trained with motivational coaches Mark Victor Hansen, T Harv Eker, Bob Proctor, and John Childers and has studied with spiritual leaders and visionaries, Matthew Fox, Andrew Harvey, Oscar Miro Quesada, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Jean Houston, Joanna Macy, Carolyn Myss, Thomas Huebl, and Ken Wilber. She has eaten fire, broken boards with her hand, jumped from eagle poles, walked barefoot on hot coals, and bent a steel rebar with a partner using only her neck.

In 2006, while living in Panama, she began facilitating interactive workshops.  She has been a featured guest on numerous radio and TV talk shows: “Dare to Dream Radio,” with Deborah Dachinger; “Waking Up—Learning What Your Life is Trying to Teach You,” with John Earle; “Shifts of Mind for a World of Renewal,” with John D. Schmidt; and “Dancing with Words, Dancing with Wisdom” with Pol Cousineau.

Janet, while living in Roatan, Honduras, wrote her Amazon bestselling and Next Generation Indie Book Award winning book, Shift: Change Your Words, Change Your World. Shift is a creative tool for expanding consciousness. It is globally distributed and has been translated into four languages, Bulgarian, Russian, Indonesian, and Slovakian. Her article “Freedom from Fear” was featured in J. Kim Wright’s American Bar Association bestseller, Lawyers as Peacemakers: Practicing Holistic, Problem-Solving Law. She is currently finalizing a new book, “Surrendering into Soul: A Heroine’s Journey,” to manifest in the world, through her theories, stories, concepts, and wordplay, what she has learned during her 84 years of lived experience. The book will launch in the Spring of 2021. As the result of her 55 years of transformational experiences, her 22 years as a practicing attorney, and her lifetime of writing, speaking, working, and playing with words, Janet has developed semantic solutions to human suffering. She understands, at a deep experiential level, the energetic effects of human words on the human mind, body, emotions, and spirit, because she has personally lived them.

In May, 2017, Janet spoke at an Inspire-New Zealand event in Dunedin, New Zealand, lived for three nights in a pre-Maori community on the North Island of New Zealand, and helped distribute Sawyer water filters to a school in Vanuatu, South Sea Islands, before traveling to Australia and snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef.

In January 2018, Janet spoke in La Jolla, California, at the “Be the Voice of Positive Change Gathering”; in February, she explored temples and ashrams in Southern India on a Sacred Activism tour with Andrew Harvey; and in March, she spoke at the International Women’s Day celebration in Katwadde, Uganda, went on safari in the Greater Serengeti, Tanzania, and explored Pretoria, Franschhoek, Cape Town, and the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa.

In May 2018, Janet traveled to Branford, Connecticut, for a professionally-filmed video interview with Jim Masters (long-time interviewer for PBS and CUTV News), https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPInOBuXpbg&t=8s. Jim interviewed Janet about some of her consciousness-shifting experiences and her initial struggles to find the words with which to communicate them. In the video, Janet talks about her “heroine’s journey,” her struggles with terror and rage, her explorations into what we humans do with words, her explorations into human power dynamics (power over, power under, and power against the ultimate questions: how do we use analytic, divisive words to shift our own consciousness to align with a “Power Greater than Ourselves” and ultimately shift into “Power With,” not only other human beings, but all of creation? How do we use analytic, divisive words to facilitate and co-create a peaceful, powerful, prosperous planet – together?

In 2019, Janet actively participated with Terry Patten, best-selling author of A New Republic of the Heart. Terry’s one-year-long experiment in “we-space” brought people from all over the planet together, where they formed intimate bonds of mutual compassion, support, and sharing of their talents, skills, and gifts with one another and the world.

On April 17, 2020, Janet filed Articles of Incorporation in the State of Florida for a new educational, (501)(c)(3) foundation, Planetary Peace, Power, and Prosperity Legacy Foundation, Inc. She is now working with a strong core network of men and women to offer life altering education to all citizens of our world about how to bring inner peace, personal (em)power(ment) and prosperity (abundance) into their own lives. When everyone on our planet experiences the benefits of changing their words to change their world, we shall create, co-create, and manifest a Peaceful, Powerful, and Prosperous Planet – together.

In 2019, Dr. Warfield was inducted into the exclusive IAOTP Hall of Fame. In 2018, she was named Empowered Woman of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals. In 2017 she received the lifetime achievement award, and in 2016, IAOTP honored her as Top Professional of the Year in Consciousness Education.  In 2015, she was selected as Most Prominent Professional in the Field of Consciousness Education by Continental Who’s Who, her photo and award displayed on a Times Square billboard.
