Symptoms of Dry Eyes:

• Reddening of eyes,

• Tearing,

• Burning sensation,

• Blurred vision.

Causes of Dry Eyes:

• Increased screen time,

• Direct exposure to cold wind and hot air (ACs and Fans),

• Due to cold or dry weather

Prevention:

• Use humidifiers to moisten the eyes.

• Using appropriate eye drops prescribed by a physician can help keep the eye moistened.

• Usage of protective eyewears or eyeglasses can protect the eyes from drying.

• Take eye breaks during long tasks and always place the computer screens below eye level to avoid too much exposure.

• Avoid sitting in front of Air Conditioners and fans for prolonged hours.
