Debbie Hymen selected for IAOTP’s Lifetime Achievement Award

Debbie  Hymen, Designated Managing Broker at Real Deb Realty located in Highland Park, Illinois, was recently selected for the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her influence, proficiency and dedication to her profession.

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members are selected for the Lifetime Achievement Award. These special honorees are distinguished based on their longevity in their fields, their contributions they have made to society and the impact they have had on their industries. Debbie is being recognized for this distinction for having over 2 decades of professional experience in the Real Estate Industry. She has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. As a dynamic, results-driven leader, Debbie has demonstrated success not only as a Realtor and Broker but also as a trusted consultant to her clients.

Before embarking on her current career path, Debbie earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Debbie is a top notch licensed real estate broker and Founder of Real Deb Realty. She has an impressive repertoire of prior roles including serving as a Broker Associate for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Managing Broker for Prudential Preferred Properties, and Broker of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Koenig Rubloff Realty Group.

Debbie’s areas of expertise include but are not limited to First Time Buyers, Relocating Buyers and Sellers, Move- up Buyers and Sellers, Downsizing Buyers and Sellers and Renters. She is an expert of Illinois License Law, the Code of Ethics, real estate related forms and procedures. Debbie is thorough and transparent with all important details that her clients need to be informed on.

Throughout her remarkable career Debbie has received awards, accolades and has been

recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. This year she was featured in TIP (Top Industry Professional) Magazine , is a 10 year Five Star Professional Award Winner and was selected for the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). Debbie has also served as  Chairman for the NSBAR Education  and is currently serving as Vice Chairman of its Diversity and Fair Housing Committee and Chairman of its Grievance Committee.  Debbie is a mediator and on the Illinois Realtors Ombudsman and Professional Standards Committees.

Looking back, Debbie attributes her success to her perseverance, mentors she has had the honor of collaborating with and staying passionate in all her business endeavors. When not working, Debbie has enjoyed serving on her two local school boards, for which, in April 2019 she completed 20 years of service. Debbie also loves traveling, and spending time with her family. For the future, she hopes to continue to make a difference in people’s lives any way that she can.
