Darren McCarty’s Grind Time To Appear On NRM Streamcast

NRM Streamcast is proud to announce that former NHL Forward for the Detroit Red Wings, Darren McCarty, will join NRM Streamcast’s digital lineup of programming with his weekly live streamed show entitled, Grind Time with Darren McCarty.  Beginning on Wednesday, January 8^th, 2020, the program will stream live weekly and will be available on-demand on nrmstreamcast.com, NRM Streamcast’s mobile app, and its associated platforms.

Darren McCarty played professional hockey from 1992 to 2009.  Known for his fighting spirit on the ice, McCarty was known as the enforcer of the Detroit Red Wings, a role which lead to winning the Stanley Cup four times in 1997, 1998, 2002, and 2008.

Having provided color commentary on a variety of sports networks, Darren McCarty launched his own podcast, Grind Time, in 2018.  Grind Time brings McCarty’s legendary personality to NRM Streamcast where he discusses various topics with his characteristic “real, honest truth.”  There is never a dull moment when Darren puts words to his honest thoughts about sports, family, sobriety, music, charity and whatever else is foremost on his mind.  With special guests such as prominent athletes and inspirational public figures, Darren focuses on the people and stories that inspire us to face life’s challenges head-on while endeavoring to enrich the lives of others.
