A total of 12 teams have qualified for the tournament. North America is allocated three berths, Central America is allocated four berths, the Caribbean is allocated 4 berths and final berth is allocated to the winner of the play-off between the two fifth-placed teams of the Caribbean zone and the Central American zone.
The teams which will participate in the CONCACAF this year include: French Guiana, Canada, Honduras, Costa Rica, United States, Panama, Martinique, Nicaragua, Mexico, El Salvador, Curacao and Jamaica.
