For almost 25 years, Arches Natural Products, Inc. has supplied individuals suffering from tinnitus symptoms with natural, herbal supplements. The company’s flagship product, Arches Tinnitus Formula, contains a proprietary blend of zinc and Ginkgo biloba known as GinkgoMax 26/7®, a high-potency form of the herb. While many studies have highlighted the potential benefits of taking Ginkgo biloba extract (Gbe) for tinnitus, the latest study performed by German researchers includes data on a large cohort of over 111,000 individuals gathered over 15 years, lending high credibility to their conclusions.
Though there are many potential causes and treatment options for tinnitus sufferers, there is a lack of conclusive scientific data regarding the best ways to alleviate its debilitating symptoms. Diagnosed with tinnitus himself, President of Arches Natural Product, Inc. Barry Keate is committed to helping others with tinnitus in their fight to overcome it and live full and meaningful lives. For Keate, this began with developing a natural, herbal tinnitus supplement based on scientific research. Keate and many others have recognized the benefits and potential of Ginkgo biloba for tinnitus for years. The results of this newest study are further evidence that Gbe shows real promise.
Keate stresses the importance of making sure you are using high quality ginkgo. Not all ginkgo brands are alike. According to Consumer Labs, “Recent tests of popular Ginkgo biloba supplements sold in the U.S. found that only 4 of 10 were confirmed to contain their listed amounts of real ginkgo extract.”
“I am thrilled with the results of this study out of Germany,” stated Keate. “For years, tinnitus has been an under-recognized and under-researched medical condition. As such, many people have struggled to learn how to cope with and overcome its crippling impact. The more we learn about what works and what doesn’t, the better we can help those who find themselves in this unfortunate situation.”
Published in Frontiers in Neurology, this peer-reviewed study out of Germany assessed the ENT visit frequency of patients with tinnitus after receiving Gbe, systemic corticosteroids (CSs), or pentoxifylline (PTXF). The data gathered from 111,629 patients who met all study criteria over a 15-year period showed that individuals who received Gbe had fewer follow-up visits than those who received either of the other two treatment medications. The study had an overall confidence interval of 95%.
“According to Consumer Labs, only four in every ten Ginkgo supplements in the U.S. contains the listed amount of Gbe,” remarked Keate. “It is crucial that individuals taking Ginkgo for tinnitus symptoms choose a product that contains high-quality Ginkgo. At Arches Natural Products, take pride in using only top-quality, high-potency Ginkgo biloba in our tinnitus relief supplements because only then can individuals reap the benefits of taking it.”
