Citrin Cooperman Welcomes Principal and Corporate Communications Leader Dan Ginsburg

Citrin Cooperman, one of the largest and fastest growing professional services firms in the United States, today announced the appointment of Dan Ginsburg as principal, corporate communications leader. In the newly established role, Ginsburg assumes responsibility for driving the firm’s internal communications, media relations, crisis communications, and executive visibility. Ginsburg brings more than three decades of corporate affairs, internal and external communications experience, including extensive focus on professional services communications.

Ginsburg joins Citrin Cooperman from professional services firm RSM where he led public affairs, including public relations, public policy, and corporate communications. He previously served as executive director at KPMG, leading corporate and functional communications. This followed positions at communications firms Environics Communications and Porter Novelli, where he provided strategic communications counsel to some of the world’s leading brands. Ginsburg began his career in Washington, D.C., serving as special assistant to U.S. Representative Jerry Huckaby (LA), and later as Chief Speechwriter to Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Almond.

Ginsburg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland at College Park. He resides in Wilton, CT, with his spouse and three children. Dan will be based out of Citrin Cooperman’s New York City office and will report to Chief Strategy Officer, Steve Ronan.
