At the time, he had planned a backpacking trip with his son for the following year and realized that he needed to lose a minimum of 114 pounds to go on the trip with him. Frailey reached out to D’Angelo and they worked together to establish a goal for Frailey, who ended up meeting that goal 9.5 months later. Due to his weight loss success, he was able to go on the backpacking trip with his son.
Frailey is now celebrating two years of being a leaner and healthier version of himself. In addition, he plans to do another backpacking trip with his second son in July 2021.
