What’s New in CDSP-210:
The DSP-210 certification exam reflects changes and updates to the field of data science, including the push to democratize data in the organization. Notably, it incorporates material about neural networks, particularly transformer architectures. There is a new “Operationalizing the Pipeline” domain, which emphasizes an approach to deploying and delivering data-driven services to customers and other stakeholders in a business environment.

Retiring CDSP-110:

Key Features of the DSP-210 Exam:
- Comprehensive Coverage: The DSP-210 exam covers critical domains including defining data science needs, extracting and transforming data, performing exploratory data analysis, building and testing models, operationalizing pipelines, and communicating findings. The exam is designed to assess a wide range of skills necessary for successful data science practice.
- Flexible Examination Options: Candidates can choose between taking the exam online through Pearson OnVUE or in-person at Pearson VUE test centers, offering flexibility to accommodate diverse schedules and preferences.
- No Formal Prerequisites: The DSP-210 exam does not require formal prerequisites, making it accessible to a broad audience. Candidates should possess foundational skills in programming languages such as Python® and R, querying languages, statistics, linear algebra, and data visualization. Training courses are available globally to help candidates prepare.
- Exam Details: The DSP-210 exam consists of 90 questions, with 75 questions counting towards the final score. Candidates must achieve a passing score of 72% or 69%, depending on the exam form. The exam duration is 120 minutes, including time for reading and signing the Candidate Agreement.
