Company in Pacific Northwest offers storage solutions for small spirits companies doing business with The State of Oregon
Vancouver, WA (PRUnderground) June 23rd, 2016
Cascade Beverage Logistics, LLC, located in SW Washington, is offering new shipping and storage solutions for beverage alcohol suppliers wishing to do business with the Oregon Liquor Control Commission.
Operating out of their 30,000 square foot warehouse in Vancouver, WA, CBL aims to streamline the often difficult and confusing landscape for suppliers and their agents doing business in control states.
Todd Holden, Director of Corporate Communications for CBL states, “With the explosion of alcohol brands now available, control states such as Oregon are out of warehouse space and have been forced to limit their inventory levels. This has especially impacted small producers. Our business model offers inexpensive offsite storage for finished goods and daily deliveries to the State’s warehouse.”
“It works like this”, Holden continues, “We arrange shipping through our preferred network of freight forwarders to our warehouse. As orders come in, we fulfill within one business day. These daily deliveries are included in our modest monthly storage fee. In many cases, our shipping partners can save the supplier enough money from typical LTL or rail costs to cover our rates.”
When asked about servicing other states, Holden replied, “We launched in the Oregon market first but our plan is to expand to the Mountain states as soon as organic growth allows.”
