BrainSell has made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America, again! BrainSell, a Massachusetts-based value-added software reseller, experienced 84.47% growth last year according to Inc. and added several new jobs in 2016. Inc. 5000 states that 2016 was the most competitive year since the list was started. Since last year, BrainSell has opened a successful Intacct practice and has rapidly expanded their BPM (business process management) and marketing automation practices. Brainsell has also acquired several companies throughout the years, two in 2016, making 31 total acquisitions in the past eight years.

How the 2016 Inc. 500 Companies Were Selected
This year’s list measures revenue growth from 2011 to 2016. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2016.
