A more stringent National Defense Industry Development Law has just passed in Taiwan, which demands higher information and internet security. In this time Anyware Co. proposes an overall cyber security and internal control plan that not only in response to government inspections, but also offers comprehensive supervision over the internal safety control.
In cooperation with European manufacturers, Anyware Co. plays a major role in the Taiwan Cyber Security Technology Hub (TCSTH). In 2020, Mr. Fang, CEO of Anyware Co., serves as the first executive secretary of TCSTH. For the future development, Mr. Fang made two suggestions for information security in high-tech and sensitive technology industries. The first is to build up personnel in charge of security affairs. It doesn’t have to be full-time staff, but must be trained with cyber security profession. The focus of training is on the establishment of cyber security concepts, principals, and the implementation of internal control, which includes personnel guidelines. The second is the security code of conduct and how to improve the existing network security apparatus to meet the higher requirements of national defense. Mr. Fang suggested that TCSTH and the government first discuss a set of objective auditing standards, which can effectively prevent unauthorized access, usage or tampering of the ICT system or information.
Based on the its previous experience from cooperating with advanced defense companies in Europe, Anyware Co. launches cyber security proposals. These solutions can not only fully understand the current shortcomings of the enterprises, but also look forward the requirements on sensitive technologies that might set for future contractors by the military procurement. In addition, for existing cybersecurity software that may involve remote monitoring software, as well as server and cloud security management, a set of reference specifications has also been established. TCSTH keeps integrating expert opinions and communicating between the government and the industry through a platform it established. The integration of such security standards can better meet the European requirements, and significantly assist the transnational cooperation in defense industry.
