AnnCharlott Enberg selected for IAOTP’s Empowered Woman Award

Emerson Automation Solutions | Rosemount Tank Radar AB was recently chosen to receive the Empowered Woman of the Year Award for 2021 given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). Her exemplary role as a female professional in a male dominated industry displays her influence, capability and proficiency.

With over 2 decades of professional experience in Functional Safety, AnnCharlott has certainly, proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. As a dynamic, results-driven leader she has demonstrated success not only as a Global Manager but in every position she has previously filled. Her most recent focus while working for Emerson Automation Solutions is to ensure the safety process in engineering systems with the use of HAZOP, FMEA and LOOPA tools. She is also responsible to secure risk reduction and she interacts with operations personnel and human design processes.

AnnCharlott’s impressive repertoire of prior roles include CEO for SILTECH AB where she began to gain experience in Functional Safety for the Petrochemical Industry and Energy Market BMS Assessment. Her next position was Business Unit Director for DEKRA AB and then she served as the SRE Site Responsible Process Safety Engineer for Azko Nobel AB. Currently, AnnCharlott works as the Global Functional Safety Manager for Emerson Automation Solutions.

Her key responsibilities as a corporate leader and innovative collaborator are to achieve operational goals while systemically managing risk. AnnCharlott has extraordinary abilities for ensuring the safety of staff, while improving sustainability and streamlining processes. She manages and handles areas of industrial processes and works on projects that impact petrochemical, energy, chemical, pulp and paper industries. She is proficient in Safety Compliance, Process Engineering, Business Development and Strategy, Staff Leadership and Training, Project Management and Engineering, Risk Assessment and Quality Assurance.

Over the course of her diverse professional career, AnnCharlott has completed numerous training courses and has earned many certifications. She began her studies at the University of Gothenburg where she attained an Associate’s Degree in Mathematical Statics and Probability and studied Environmental Activities in-depth. In 2006 at Lund University she received an Associate’s Degree in Fire Prevention and Safety Technology/Technician. While at Chalmers University of Technology, she received a Bachelor’s Degree as a Machine Engineer for Technical Innovation and Management and later achieved an Associate’s Degree in Advanced Project Management in 2011. AnnCharlott finished with an MBA PROBANA in 2014. Following her occupation requirements, she has established knowledge and experience in communication and leadership, as well as safety management for drug abuse clinical trials and corporate social responsibility management.

Throughout her illustrious career, AnnCharlott has received many awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. This year she will receive recognitions for her selection as Top Global Manager of the Year for 2020 and also for the Empowered Woman of the Year Award for 2021 at IAOTP’s Annual awards Gala being held at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. AnnCharlott was featured in TIP (Top Industry Professional) Magazine last year and was named as a member of the International Society of Female Professionals.

Looking back, AnnCharlott attributes her success to her training, her perseverance and mentors she has had the pleasure of working alongside. She is an active member within her community and devotes her spare time to educating children about water safety and teaching them how to swim. For the future, she will continue lending her knowledge about safety and risk, while helping people enjoy their work and interests.
