Alpenglow Expeditions Adds Iconic Mount Shasta To Its California Guided-Climbing and Ski Mountaineering Program

Alpenglow Expeditions, one of the leading mountain guide companies in the country, announced today the expansion of its California program with the addition of Mount Shasta to the roster of its climbing and ski mountaineering expeditions that also includes Lake Tahoe and the High Sierras.

Alpenglow has secured a special permit to begin tour operations on Mount Shasta beginning in May and will offer:

• A 2-day Avalanche Gulch climb to the summit
• A 3-day West Face Climb skills course
• A 3-day West Face Ski Trip for “big mountain” skiers and
• A 4-day North Face Intro to Mountaineering course
