Afraid of Catching the Genital Herpes Virus? You Should Be; CBCD Reviews Medical Studies

45 million people in the United States have genital herpes, and the numbers are going up! The CBCD discusses the reasons why and recommends two natural herpes remedies.

“Are you infected with the genital herpes virus (HSV-2)? We recommend taking Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin.” – Greg Bennett, CBCD
Are you afraid of catching the genital herpes virus? You should be. It’s common, and becoming even more common. “Nationwide, 45 million people ages 12 and older, or one out of five of the total adolescent and adult population, are infected with genital herpes.” (1) That’s almost as many people as Latino Americans (46.9 million) and more than African Americans (37.6 million)! (2)
Dr. Maroñas-Jiménez and colleagues wrote that “Genital herpes (GH) remains one of the most widespread sexually transmitted infections (STIs) worldwide and its prevalence is currently rising in the female population of developed countries.” (3) Dr. Maroñas-Jiménez and colleagues are from the Dermatology Department, 12 de Octubre University Hospital in Madrid, Spain. Women should remember that transmission of the virus from men to women is more common than the reverse. MedicineNet.com agrees with the findings of Dr. Maroñas-Jiménez, noting that “since the late 1970s, the number of Americans with genital herpes infection has increased 30%. The largest increase is currently occurring in young white teens. HSV-2 infection is now five times more common in 12- to 19-year-old whites, and it is twice as common in young adults ages 20 to 29 than it was 20 years ago.” (1)
The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) therefore recommends that individuals infected with genital herpes (HSV-2) take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin. The formula of these natural antiviral products was tested by Hanan Polansky and Edan Itzkovitz from the CBCD in two clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines. The studies showed that the Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin formula is effective against EBV and other viruses. The clinical studies were published in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, the first, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs. Study authors wrote that, “individuals infected with the (HSV and other viruses)…reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with Gene-Eden-VIR.” (4) The study authors also wrote that, “We observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.” (4) In addition, this natural antiviral was recently proven to reduce mental and physical fatigue in a post-marketing clinical study that followed FDA guidelines.
Both products can be ordered online on the Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin websites.
Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are natural antiviral dietary supplements. Their formula contains five natural ingredients: Selenium, Camellia Sinesis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. The first ingredient is a trace element, and the other four are plant extracts. Each ingredient and its dose was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists at polyDNA, the company that invented and patented the formula, scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals, and identified the safest and most effective natural ingredients against latent viruses. To date, Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are the only natural antiviral products on the market with published clinical studies that support their claims.
Dr. Kumar and his team also concur with Dr. Maroñas-Jiménez, writing that “Genital herpes, which was considered to be a minor sexually transmitted disease (STD) in the past in developing countries, is rapidly increasing.” (4) Dr. Kumar and his team are from the Department of Dermatology, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India. They speculate that one reason is the failure of “sex protection” techniques and devices. They note that safer sex practices “prevent bacterial STDs more efficiently than viral ones.” (4) In other words, Dr. Kumar doesn’t blame individuals for not protecting themselves; instead he says that even if you use the available devices, such as condoms, correctly, you can still get infected by the genital herpes virus.
Additionally, Dr. Schulte and his colleagues wrote that “Many women who test positive for HSV-1 and/or HSV-2 are unaware of their status.” (5) In other words, these women were infected with herpes and didn’t even know it! Dr. Schulte and his team are from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, NIH, in Bethesda, Maryland.
In light of these alarming numbers, the CBCD recommends that individuals take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin.

About CBCD
The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (https://www.cbcd.net) is a not-for-profit tax-exempt organization under section 501(c) 3 of the IRS tax code. The center’s mission is to advance the research on the biology of chronic disease and to accelerate the discovery of a cure for these diseases. The CBCD first published Dr. Hanan Polansky’s highly acclaimed “Purple” book, entitled “Microcompetition with Foreign DNA and the Origin of Chronic Disease” in 2003. In this book, he explains how foreign DNA fragments can cause many major diseases. The book has been read by more than 5,000 scientists around the world, and has been reviewed in more than 20 leading scientific journals. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
