Did you know the Acrocanthosaurus was a carnivore that rivaled the Tyrannosaurus rex in size? Or the clever Troodon had the biggest brain-compared-to-body-size of any dinosaur? In Farcountry Press’ newest release Dinosaurs Live! The Ultimate Coloring Adventure colorists of all ages will have a chance to learn these facts and more as they engage with dynamic action scenes from acclaimed paleo-artist Ted Rechlin.
Rechlin’s follow-up after the success of graphic novels Tyrannosaurus Rex and Jurassic blazes into new territory as he unleashes the ultimate coloring book. Part comic book, part interpretive text, and all coloring adventure, Dinosaurs Live! serves up thirty-one full-page spreads of North American dinosaurs in action. Including illustrations of each dinosaur’s fossilized mounts, the amazingly detailed and scientifically accurate coloring sections are jam-packed with awesome facts, featuring long-time favorite dinosaurs as well as recently unearthed finds.
Whether seeking to find a Zen-like peace while coloring the intricate prehistoric designs, or looking to add your creative expertise to the unique dinosaur action scenes, Dinosaurs Live! has something for everyone. For serious colorers, Dinosaurs Live! also features a special heavy, color-grade paper.

About the Author/Illustrator
Author and illustrator Ted Rechlin has been drawing pictures and telling stories since he was three years old. While his drawings have gotten much better, his stories haven’t really changed much. They’re still about superheroes, bears, wolves, sharks, monsters, and lots of dinosaurs. Ted feels very fortunate to live a life where he now gets paid to draw his pictures and tell his stories. He has contributed his work to many museums, zoos, and publishing companies like DC Comics and Dover Publications. With four of his own educational children’s books under his belt, Ted is excited about his newest release distributed by Farcountry Press, the epic dinosaur coloring adventure Dinosaurs Live!
