Multi-Platform Site Encourages Nutrition, Cooking, and Healthy Eating – In a Totally Fresh Package

KidsCOOK Productions announces the launch of KickinKitchen.TV a ground-breaking multimedia comedy series about four teens creating and starring in their very own musical cooking show. Beginning Tuesday, January 31, 2012, KickinKitchen.TV will air on NYC life (Channel 25), the flagship station of the official network of the City of New York, and will also run in New York City taxicabs. KickinKitchen.TV will air throughout the week on NYC life – Saturdays at 7:30am and 3:30pm, Tuesdays at 11am, Wednesday at 11am, and Thursdays at 10am.

KickinKitchen.TV is a one-of-a-kind original series that serves up relevant and reliable educational content for kids 8-12 years old. The show stars REYNA, an ambitious teen girl who aspires to be America’s “Next Top Teen Chef.” REYNA hosts an online cooking show with her best friends STACY, MAX and DEVON and the show becomes an overnight sensation.

KickinKitchen.TV is the brainchild of Natasha Lance Rogoff, former Executive Producer of Sesame Street International. Rogoff, an Award-Winning television producer, created 182 half-hour original foreign language episodes of the series on location in Russia and Mexico. Additionally, Rogoff has earned numerous awards for her documentary films, children’s shows, and current affairs programming for ABC, NBC, and PBS Frontline.

KickinKitchen.TV will also feature special inspirational celebrity guests ranging from chefs to NFL Stars to NBA Players. Chef Daniel Boulud and Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Greg Jennings will make cameo appearances in the first six episodes, offering insight and advice to kids and families.

Encouraging sharing on a fully integrated website, social media platforms, and mobile devices, KickinKitchen.TV will become the go-to online destination for kids to connect, share, and learn about the joys of eating well and living healthy.

Users can watch web episodes, upload videos and photos, enter contests, exchange recipes, watch music videos, get nutrition and fitness tips, and play interactive games. KickinKitchen.TV inspires kids and families to make healthy choices about food and fitness while keeping everyone entertained!
