The Alternative Board Helps Business Owners Fulfill Their Bucket List

A new excursion program from The Alternative Board invites business owners from around the world to network, unwind and check destinations off their bucket list.

On May 4, 2017, The Alternative Board will kick off its Bucket List program by inviting TAB Members, Facilitators and Coaches on a group excursion to the 143rd annual Kentucky Derby – named by Forbes as one of the “Greatest Bucket List Sporting Events” in the country.
“At The Alternative Board, we believe business owners deserve to get from their business what they want out of life,” says TAB CEO and President Jason Zickerman. “And for many business owners that means seeing the world. Helping entrepreneurs cross items off their bucket list – and achieve the things that are most important to them in life – is our top priority year after year. TAB’s Bucket List program is a big step in helping our community members achieve their travel goals.”
Participants in the inaugural Bucket List trip to the Kentucky Derby will spend a weekend at The Galt House Hotel, which offers first-class views of the highly anticipated Pegasus Parade. The weekend will be filled with horse racing, celebrity sightings, mint juleps and plenty of time to network and kick back with fellow business owners.
“The bucket list program will bring together a community of privately held business owners who share a very special thing – business ownership,” adds Zickerman. “Any time you can spend with other entrepreneurs makes you a better business owner. At TAB, we learn from each other, we motivate each other and we hold each other accountable – it helps us become better at what we do.”
The trip will also include a morning business meeting with Zickerman, as well as a Kentucky Bourbon Trail Tour, with stops at several distilleries. Tickets for seats in the first-floor grandstand section of the Triple Crown horse racing series are also included.
According to Zickerman, TAB’s Bucket List program “underscores why many of our members became entrepreneurs in the first place – to achieve what they want out of life.”
