Funky Rugs Clearance Sale Starts 18-Nov-2011

Funky Rugs, the UK’s leading online retailer of designer rugs, launches its 2011 clearance sale on 18-Nov-2011. The sale, which lasts until stocks sell out, gives online rug buyers a chance to save 30% on over 120 designer rugs. Such a steep discount means that many of the rugs are on offer for less than cost price.

“Rug styles and designs are always moving on. They change to reflect changes in tastes in interior design,” says Lee Darlington, marketing director at Funky Rugs. “Luckily turnover at Funky Rugs is fast, so we can keep abreast of contemporary tastes by bringing in a constant stream of new designs. But every so often, one or two styles don’t quite sell out before the next range comes in. Those are the rugs that we’re putting into our 2011 clearance sale.”

The 120-plus rugs on offer at clearance discounts include designer rugs from Nourison, Arte Espina, and Calvin Klein. At full price, they’d be thoroughly desirable rugs; at a 30% discount, they’re unmissable. The styles on offer are as varied as the full-price range from Funky Rugs. There are wild florals, intricate geometrics, simple swirls and splashes, and plenty of plain rugs in a range of neutral tones that will blend in anywhere.

The materials vary too. Many are in fine wool, some are in blends of wool and linen. There are rugs made of sheepskin, of cowhide, and of bamboo edged in leather. And of course there are plenty of flamboyant rugs in wool that’s deep and shaggy enough to hide a pocketful of loose change.

Although clearance rugs tend to sell out fast, Funky Rugs is planning to add more styles to the sale over the coming weeks. Unlike many clearance sales that fizzle out as stocks decrease, this one will get better as the weeks progress.
