14 Pro Drivers Will Race This Weekend At Glen Helen to Honor San Bernardino Shooting Victims

On Saturday, July 23rd, 2016, Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series and 14 of its top drivers will race in honor the city of San Bernardino in a special weekend dedicated to the victims, survivors and their families. In a continued effort to honor #SBStrong, Lucas Oil will stand alongside Mayor R. Carey Davis, first responders, victims families’ and survivors in a special Opening Ceremony presentation and conduct a moment of silence before the ‘gentlemen start their engines’!
Wearing the last names of each of the deceased on their helmets and the hashtag #SBStrong on their trucks, 14 of the industries top athlete drivers have volunteered to dedicate their races that weekend to the fallen and their families.
‘It is with tremendous respect and reverence that we honor the 14 fallen and the survivors of the San Bernardino tragedy this weekend”, says Ritchie Lewis, Series Director. “Our entire organization is focused on investing in and giving back to the communities we visit. There is an incredible amount of ‘heart behind the horsepower’ at Lucas Oil and we are grateful for the opportunity to honor these heroes any way we can.”

Agenda: Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series will publicly honor Mayor of San Bernardino, survivors, victims families and first responders during the Opening Ceremonies event July 23rd 7:30pm. Prior to the race LOORRS will offer a special meet-and-greet /autograph signing with the above 14 Race Drivers for all SB honorees from 5:45 to 6:30pm.
