A vehicle made especially for the eco-conscious yet speed-loving driver looking for the next big thing
Brooklyn, New York (PRUnderground) April 26th, 2016
“Allow me to introduce you, ladies and gentlemen, to the Monotracer: a two-wheeled, electrically powered and enclosed vehicle, which resembles a speed motorcycle built to ride during wet weather”, an excited Michael Tornabe spoke as he started his address.
Mr. Michael Tornabe – who is a renowned private school transportation entrepreneur, inventor and technology enthusiast – has held a number of such addresses in the last few months. He attributes the reason behind this to the looming crises caused by near-depletion of our fossil fuel sources, environmental degradation from over-commercialization and traffic congestion in the world’s major cities.
In this address, he spoke in detail about one futurist technology, the Monotracer. “It also features two smaller wheels on either side, which are designed to protrude from the vehicle’s body when the vehicle travels at lower speeds or is stopped.”
He noted that the vehicle is designed to carry a driver and one passenger, and has enough room to fit luggage for a weekend trip. When so loaded, it can exceed speeds of 120 miles per hour capping at 150 mph, and is powered by an electrically-charged lithium-ion battery, making it into the list of the most efficient vehicles in the world.
Complex regulations however, still hold back this vehicle. It was designed and tested in Switzerland, but barred from entering the United States. This in no way undermines the sheer genius behind this invention, which can accelerate from rest to 60 mph in four seconds or less.
“The Monotracer utilizes an AC propulsion drivetrain, just like what is used by the Tesla Roadster and its fuel consumption is impressive: 300 mpg at 75 mph. retailing at a whopping $100,000, the fully electric Monotracer is likely to become a favorite for those who love the thrill of speed, but wish to indulge in an environmentally friendly way,” Michael Tornabe explained in conclusion.
