C24 Transforms Learning Experiences with Cloud Technology

C24, a Six Degrees Group Company, has released a Microsoft video case study about the two companies’ joint work on delivering Office365 to the students and staff at Birmingham’s Arthur Terry Learning Partnership.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is one of the UK’s leading academy groups, with over 4,500 students and staff across a consortium of seven schools.  They are seen as a leading light in the education sector and through their work with C24 and Microsoft, they now have a technology platform that can deliver for them over the long term.

C24 Ltd, part of 6DG and a leading UK hosting provider based in the West Midlands, UK, engaged with the school’s management at the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership to deliver Microsoft’s Office365 solution across the consortium’s locations.

Using technology to enable product learning environments

As a Microsoft Gold Hosting Partner, C24 Ltd is experienced in enabling more productive learning and business environments through harnessing Microsoft’s application and cloud technology.  Owing to the great outcomes now achieved by staff and students such as the ability to communicate across schools in real-time, access work and files from home, school or on mobile devices and the reduced workloads within the IT team delivering a cloud service has meant that Microsoft were keen to show the great work carried out at the school in the form of a video case study.

Microsoft visited the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership on 19^th January 2016 to film the school’s experiences of the solution and to interview C24 to understand more about their role delivering great technology experiences to organisations through specialist application hosting.

Microsoft video case study to showcase Office365

In the video, C24 talks about their close partnership with both the school and Microsoft to deliver a solution that enables more flexible learning experiences.  Students and staff were also filmed discussing their experiences of Office365 and how it has made learning and teaching more productive and successful.

C24 originally engaged with the IT team at Arthur Terry Learning Partnership to help them with their project to migrate away from their current email solution which involved a number of the schools each having a different email platform – making it more difficult to communicate between the different sites.

Furthermore, in-house IT systems were ageing and required upgrading to cope with demand, whilst the primary schools’ hosted service was not able to deliver effective collaboration services.  This would result in an unsustainable model in the long term; creating obstacles for the schools to achieve their ongoing objectives.

With Microsoft and C24’s support, the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership now has a future proofed solution in place to enable better learning experiences and more collaboration between students, staff and schools.
