Florida golf school, Keiser University COGSM recently treated their students to a hands-on demonstration from LPGA Hall of Famers Nancy Quarcelino and Donna White.

Keiser University students received hands-on demonstrations from LPGA Hall of Fame players Nancy Quarcelino and Donna White. Florida golf school, Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management (COGSM) recently treated their students to a unique presentation and hands-on demonstration from LPGA Hall of Famers Nancy Quarcelino and Donna White. The two renowned golfers spoke to the Bachelor of Science in Sport Management students about teaching and coaching the game of golf and provided the students with rare insight.

With a career that spans more than 30 years, Quarcelino is a member of the LPGA and PGA of America and she is regarded as one of the premier golf instructors in the country. She has coached a wide range of golfers during her career including: amateur men and women of all abilities, competitive junior golfers, players on the LPGA Tour, the PGA developmental tours, LPGA and PGA club professionals, and collegiate golfers. In 2012, Quarcelino was inducted into the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Hall of Fame, the highest honor given to teaching and club professional members for extraordinary membership service and leadership, while contributing to the game of golf and the golf industry. When it comes to golf schools, Florida can count on Keiser.
White is a faculty member at Keiser University COGSM and was recently elected to the LPGA Hall of Fame. Later this year, she will also be inducted into the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Hall of Fame, a very prestigious and limited group with only 25 members world-wide. She is an instructor for the LPGA Player Development program, a national program to help LPGA and PGA club professionals attend to improve their golf skills. White enjoyed a successful junior, amateur and collegiate career winning many titles including the 1976 United States Women’s Amateur Championship.
The Keiser University COGSM degree in Golf Management prepares students for a wide variety of positions in the golf industry. The program gives students the educational background and training to provide golf instruction, manage golf course operations, ensure proper maintenance of golf facilities and equipment, as well as how to incorporate the play of golf into the broader hospitality and recreation domain.
Keiser University COGSM’s Bachelor of Science in Sport Management degree (with a concentration in golf management) focuses on the managerial and business aspects of a career in golf.
