Cingari Family Markets Announces ShopRite of Danbury Renovation

New Enhancements to Include Expanded Culinary Offerings, Updated Departments, and Sustainable Features

Cingari Family Markets, the family-owned and operated Connecticut-based supermarket company, is excited to announce the renovation of its ShopRite of Danbury, located at 1 Padanaram Road.
The renovation reflects Cingari Family Markets’ ongoing commitment to providing exceptional shopping experiences. The project includes a new modern store exterior and enhanced interior décor, as well as a host of new services tailored to meet the evolving needs of customers.
Construction began this week and is expected to conclude by late spring 2025. The Danbury location will remain open during the renovation, with most work taking place overnight to minimize customer inconvenience. A grand re-opening celebration will be planned upon the project’s completion.

The renovation will bring several notable enhancements, including:
- An expanded grab-and-go section, offering a wide selection of take-and-bake seafood and meat options such as marinated salmon, scallops, dry-rubbed meats, and crab cakes.
- A reimagined floral department, designed to accommodate every holiday and special occasion.
- Upgraded departments for produce, bakery, seafood, deli, meat, dairy, and frozen goods, each reflecting a focus on quality and convenience.
- An expanded lineup of Cingari Family Markets’ private label prepared entrées and sides, crafted with the same care and tradition that has defined the brand for generations.
In alignment with Cingari Family Markets’ sustainability goals, the ShopRite of Danbury will incorporate energy-efficient refrigeration and freezer units, as well as lighted shelves to improve visibility.
