Washington, DC (PRUnderground) March 5th, 2014
Social Tables (www.socialtables.com) today announced the release of a metric system feature within its hospitality suite of products. Once selected, this option will automatically convert all elements of the toolbar, allowing non-Imperial System of Measurements users (better known as the ENTIRE world aside from the United States) to utilize Social Tables’s diagramming software with ease.
Rami Chowdhury, Social Tables’ Software Engineer (and lone employee with a British accent), created this feature within his first few weeks at the company. “I am thrilled that this is my first major feature at Social Tables. Having lived and worked in Europe, I could relate firsthand to the need for this addition to the software.”
“Once we reached a critical mass of requests to support metric, we immediately set to work to make it a reality. Being an agile team, we listen to feedback from our 22,000 user community and shift priorities around to be as customer-centric and relevant as possible,” says CEO Dan Berger.
Metric support compliments the fact that all foreign languages are supported by the software, allowing Social Tables to impact events and meetings around the world. “This roll out is incredibly exciting, as it puts us on par with global hospitality standards, opening doors that were once locked to us”, Berger notes. This release comes weeks before the Grand Hyatt Singapore implements Social Tables, increasing the company’s international footprint, which already includes such notable clients as the Four Seasons Budapest, the Vancouver Aquarium, Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo, the Hard Rock Hotel Panama City & the Hyatt Andaz Costa Rica.
