Los Angeles, CA (PRUnderground) September 3rd, 2024
JINYA Ramen Bar has teamed up with Doherty Enterprises, Inc. to open their first location in New Jersey on Tuesday, September 10.
Located in North Jersey at 465 US-46 in Totowa, JINYA Ramen Bar will offer guests flavorful ramen dishes, all beginning with rich broth simmered for over 20 hours in-house, along with authentic Japanese small plates and shareables, as well as a full bar and craft cocktails.
“We are delighted to join forces with Doherty Enterprises to bring JINYA Ramen Bar to Totowa,” said JINYA CEO and Founder Tomo Takahashi. “Their expertise in the northeast and our expertise in ramen will pair wonderfully as we begin to develop additional locations throughout the region.”
The Grand Opening celebrations begin at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony welcoming the Totowa community to JINYA’s new location. Scheduled to appear are Totawa’s Mayor John Coiro, Council President Lou D’Angelo, Councilman Patrick Fierro, and Chamber of Commerce President Michelle Vernuccio along with members of her team.
The first 100 customers will receive a free bowl of ramen, and dinner guests will be treated to a special DJ set from DJ Nico DiRenzi to keep the party going all evening.
At JINYA, experience ramen like it’s meant to be – with thick, rich broth in perfect balance with flavorful noodles. Discover a wide array of authentic toppings, from tender pork chashu to a perfectly cooked and seasoned poached egg to fresh garlic. Then, elevate the experience further by pairing it with tapas or a craft beer. JINYA is ramen culture, where the relationship between broth and noodles is serious but delicious business.
Along with a great menu, the JINYA Ramen Bar in Totowa also features a full bar, stocked with a wide selection of authentic Japanese beers like Sapporo Reserve Black, Asahi, and Echigo Weizen, and liquors, including whiskey, vodka, gin, and sake from brands like Suntory, Joto craft sakes, and Mars Whiskey. In addition to Japanese beers, the restaurant also features craft beers from local New Jersey breweries such as 7 Tribesmen, Ghost House Brewing, Kane Brewing, Bolero Snort Brewery, and Brix City. Guests can enjoy these as well as authentic signature cocktails at JINYA’s Happy Hour held from 3 to 6 pm daily.
One of the restaurant’s unique features is its High Ball Machine which delivers super-chilled whisky mixed with a perfectly calibrated ratio of high-carbonation soda water. The Japanese have always valued precision and quality, and this Highball Machine embodies these principles by ensuring that every Highball served is exactly as it should be—light, balanced, and refreshing.
In addition, to celebrate Doherty Enterprises’ recent partnership with the American Cancer Society, the company will donate $1 from every “Flying Violette” cocktail sold during September and October. This partnership underscores Doherty’s support of causes that directly benefit the communities in which they do business.
“We are beyond excited to open our first JINYA Ramen Bar and introduce Totowa to this incredible dining experience,” said Tim Doherty, CEO of Doherty Enterprises. “Our mission has always been to bring diverse and high-quality dining options to our communities, and JINYA perfectly aligns with that vision. We can’t wait for our guests to experience the exceptional ramen, unique tapas, and hard-to-find Japanese beers and liquors that JINYA has to offer.”
